NOTE: The dyno graphs displayed here are by no means the best results that we have obtained. We do not believe in publishing extreme cases and then having dissatisfied users if their results are not on par. These graphs were posted on internet bulletin boards by users of DF.

  • I'm not a fan of doing this, but I gotta say. Good stuff. Actually let me turn the timing up a bit. No other octane booster has been able to accomplish that. It still pinks slightly at the new timing setting, but given my cr there is NO octane booster that's gonna cure that, but like I said, it let me turn the timing up a tad, where ** et al barely cured the pinking on the lower timing.

Used it on a pinking Caddy as well, and pinking is gone. So that Caddy's owner is now a fan as well.

Car feels soooooo much better with more timing, it's just not funny.

  • I started off very skeptical about this product, after having used similar products with either little or no performance gain, or evil side effect.

The one product available on this market that seemed to give some kind of octane boost and performance enhancement, gave me spark plug problems on the GTI which had to be replaced after 5000kms due to deposit build-up.

Anyways, I got in touch with WW Technologies through the VW club BB and arranged that my GTI be used to do a before and after dyno run at KAR in Kempton Park last on Saturday the 28th of June. I filled up with plain BP95 RON unleaded (the fuel that I normally use) and did a dyno run, ambient temperature on the OBC was 6C. and it yielded 225.4hp and 381nm at the wheels.

I then poured in a bottle of DF20 and took the car for a spirited 40kms drive, when put back on the dyno it had actually lost a couple of HP, there I was thinking that this stuff doesn't work just as I expected. But the guys from DF said drive it for 200km +-, and give the ECU a chance to learn the new fuel.

After about 220kms driven during that weekend the car came alive. And dammit did it come alive. Nothing I've ever tried quite worked like DF20 poured in BP95. Even the 102RON unleaded from Kyalami that I tried on several occasions didn’t have squat on this. Throttle response from low rpm improved dramatically, as well as in-gear acceleration. Flooring it in 3rd on poor grip surfaces saw the ESP coming in to avoid wheels pin.

So the Monday I arranged again to put the car back on the same KAR dyno, using the same correction factor with a 7C ambient temperature. The car had merely done 260km on the stuff when we put it on the dyno. here is a scan of the 1st run on normal BP95 and the run with DF after 260kms:

  • I have subsequently used a tank and a half of the stuff on the M5 as well, with similar (if not even better) results, car revs so much smoother and has so much more power low down in the rev band, with a ferocious kick up top that it seriously lacked before.

I have also noted that the exhaust still burns black on both cars, same colour as when I use normal 95RON fuel, no rust-coloured(MMT) residue as when using other octane boosters that I've tried before.

  • Seems like it's not only the driver that picks the extra performance up. Today I gave my missus a ride in the car for the first time since I threw in the DF on saturday, I didn't tell her anything. A few kms down the road from my house she goes "Love, whats going on withy this car? Have you done anything to it?" I ask her why, she says "Coz it feels so much faster that it's almost scary" yes gentlemen, I know it might be hard to believe, I barely believe it myself but this stuff works incredibly well.

  • OPC dyno before & after , the results fairly impressive --- this is after around 500km on the 2nd tank with DF in the mix ...it's actually smoothed up the power profile a bit.

  • I was also present at KAR, put my GTI on and after 60km's of driving I gained 3hp and 6nm of torque, seems low but the car does take long to adapt. Another GTI that also drove 60km's, gained 7hp and about 10nm. I have now done 250km on the stuff and I must say, the stuff does work and works well at that. I am sure that the car has gained more power after full adaptation.
Great product WW Tech, well done.

  • Posting on behalf of ol` Koert..Those of you that were there on Sat.,Koert had his Ford Focus Diesel on the rollers...329nm and 120hp..
The muti was administered and there really was no improvement right there and then. Koert also is a stubborn bloke and would not go for a drive to mix and work the muti through the system either.

Today I chat to him and its all smiles and thumbs up..He reckons the Focus runs way better at higher revs and is much stronger higher up than before. He was full of praise, excepting that he now has to bottle feed the Audi AND the Focus!!

So,BIG improvement for diesel Focus here..!

  • Eventually got around to pick up 2 bottles from duigan brothers day before yesterday. Filled up with 95 and put one bottle. Since I only drive about 3 km to work every day I send the SO to work wIth the Scoob yesterday since it takes about 80km for the ECU to start adjusting.
Me and the SO went out last night(our 21st wedding anniversary) and all I can say is WOWWWWW.
WWTech, you guys have an excellent product, the biggest difference for me was in the low down smoothness, the cars throttle response is the best it ever was.
The car has been pinging (sounds like a spring rattling) quite a lot lately and last night coming back from Brooklyn, nothing!
I have been using ** Black on and off for some time and this stuff is at least as good if not better at three quarters of the price.
If you drive a turbo car you owe it to the car to add one of these bottles.
    Big thumbs up

  • I give it a thumbs up...Very impressed.

Cannot say for sure whether it was fully responsible but I improved my best lap around Zwartkops by 1 second to 1:19. Throttle response is the most noticeable change, and in gear acceleration also felt better (Car is Mini Cooper S '03)

The fuel consumption was also improved but before the track session of course. For a tank of 40 l I got 330 km with the Zwartkops laps. Before the track I had about 210 on roughly 18 litres.

To be honest, I am less concerned about consumption and the stuff is worth it just for the extra kick and smoother engine.

I must come get more bottles next weekend.

    Schweet

  • Ok,i dont want to hear it...it works.Period.Well.

We took Koert's Audi in to Snail to see what power it will make and to our heartfelt disgust it could only muster 98kw odd at the wheels.

BUT,we saw that as soon as it hits boost, the power just drops away.Which means timing.

So Riaan(who is one of the headwhips there) had this WWTECH DF20 in stock. So without touching the car,we gooied it in the tank, shook the crap out of it and did a run immediately......139kw.

Bear in mind that all the runs were done in third gear, and on our way back the little Audi only goes to 1.4 bar in 4th.Third only yields 1 bar or so.

So,there is space for improvement, but the DF20 definitely did a splendid job of boosting octane. Now back at home and with about 50k's on this stuff under its belt,it feels smoother, more responsive and waaaaaaaaay stronger up top.

38kw...5 mins apart, same dyno, same correction everything...i checked. So WWTECH or whatever the **** your name is,get me DF10 pronto ok....and Koert wants some too.Oh yes...and obviously for better prices than you advertise

    That is all.
